SA: Would-be actor to face trial on sex charges

ADELAIDE, Dec 16 AAP - An aspiring Hollywood actor will face trial in Adelaide on a
string of sex charges.

Personal trainer and would-be-actor Benjamin William Ainsworth, 29, pleaded not guilty
in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today to two counts of rape and nine counts of unlawful
sexual intercourse.

Ainsworth also pleaded not guilty to further charges of assault with intent to rape,
false imprisonment and aggravated serious criminal trespass.

The charges relate to the alleged rape or attempted rape of three young women at knifepoint
between July 2000 and October 2003 in Adelaide.

Ainsworth was remanded in police custody to face trial in the South Australian District
Court on January 23.
