*Aust skilled vacancies fall 0.6 per cent in August =4

The seasonally adjusted measure of skilled vacancies underlying the index rose by
11.4 per cent in August, following a fall of 8.1 per cent in July.

The August seasonally adjusted figure was the highest recorded this decade.
