FED: Top surgeon talks about hand transplant operation

It's not easy to find a good pair of hands, just ask Professor EARL OWEN.

The Australian specialist has spent the past 12 months looking for a suitable pair
to attach to a patient in ground-breaking surgery.

The world microsurgery pioneer says he's been to France four times in the past six
months looking for appropriate hand donors.

Last week his efforts were finally rewarded when a donor was found for a 33-year-old
French gardener who lost his hands in a model rocket accident four years ago.
