QLD: Govt reaches agreement for aircraft maintenance depot
The Queensland government has reached an in-principle agreement with National Jet Systems
Group to establish an $8 million aircraft maintenance facility in Brisbane.
Deputy Premier JIM ELDER says the company, Australia's third-largest aviation group, will
move its heavy maintenance facility to the Brisbane airport site.
He says the company will remain based in Adelaide.
Mr ELDER says the move will create about 140 jobs, although some staff are expected to
transfer from Adelaide.
